Amber-Joi Watkins is a Philadelphia native and recent graduate of the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. This vivacious mover and shaker supplements her day job as an independent PR specialist with a busy career as a dancer, model and actress.
Amber-Joi has trained and performed with many dance groups, including her hometown Philadelphia 76ers Dancers, and appeared in music videos for mega-stars like Taio Cruz, Ludacris and Flo-Rida. She also appeared with sports legend and "Dancing with the Stars" champ Emmit Smith in a national TV commercial for Just for Men.
Amber-Joi not only worked as the co-host and instructor on Comcast ON DEMAND’s Dance Club Divas and Game Time Girls, but was also an executive producer for much of the "Get Up and Dance" channel’s other content.
At the conclusion of a three-day competition held November 26-28, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA, Amber-Joi was selected as Miss Pennsylvania USA 2011. She will be competing in the nationally televised Miss USA pageant which will be held at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 19, 2011.
Always driven by an internal entrepreneurial spirit, Amber-Joi is proud of her work in developing the successful website PhillyIn.com, and plans to use her brand to turn this venture into a multifaceted enterprise.
Her hobbies include dancing, running, biking, yoga, traveling, watching football, and spending time with her family and friends, to whom she is very devoted. Her favorite group to run with is STUDENTS RUN PHILLY STYLE!

Watching “Family Guy”, “The Game”, “Throwdown with Bobby Flay, “Platinum Weddings”, “Cake Boss”, “The Wiz”, NFL Football and Disney movies. Preferably with my sister or my psuedo-sisters.
My passions are:
Dance, music, food, travel, fitness and good people. (Same as Kate, great minds think alike)

Myself get into bed at a decent time. Gotta get my beauty rest.
